When I first found TankPit, a couple of years back, and started playing again. I made it up to colonel. Then, the message that the map was changing to become a different map popped up. So, I quit the map. Then, I waited for it to change from like Desert to Rocks & Swamps, or something like that. And, all of a sudden I was a captain. I was like what the heck?

So, I emailed TankPit through the contact link, and provided them with the details of what happened, and the time that it happened. And, they checked the game logs, and determined that it was a legitimate glitch. And, they restored my tank to colonel.

So, if I were you, that is what I would do. Provide them with the details of what happened, and the time that it happened. And, maybe they will find that your issue is a legitimate glitch, and restore your tank. Worth a shot anyway.

I was the only active player on the map messing around and taking out computers. I left for one minute to answer the door and came back to see that a recruit computer tank had taken my colonel rank! Haha... :( I've learned my lesson.
