It all depends on who is ranked up and who is at a lower rank at the time. Colonel numbers aren't always indicative of what spot you'll be at General because there are dozens of people who aren't ranked up to General or Colonel who are actually ahead of many others who are ranked up. For example you could be #25, but if EVERY person were to rank General who was not General, you would find yourself at like #70. You've got a nice modest start though! Good work.

From what you told lol, it seems you're going for PPH (points per hour, for ranking high on learderboards in a short amount of time), and you don't want a death medal. One thing you could do to preserve your main tank but still make the raiders happy (and have some fun while at it) is make another tank for taking raids. Then just switch to it for taking some raids and you don't have to worry about if it dies or not. Just some information; no pressure. :)

Awesome! Taking raids can be a lot of fun. :)
I'm located on the other side of the world from where the TankPit server is, so I don't usually have the getting bored problem you mention. I don't usually last more than 4 minutes in a raid (usually 1 turn per 2-4 turns of those raiding me), but I give my best. Hahaha... xD

notice i said on my first tank. i reference that because i took 3 raids within 20 mins... my 1 lq was not a raid. it was 1v1 and i had hit my shields to keep fighting (1/3 life left) then a 2nd showed up so i teleported and there was no fuel. deep nine or whatever; we all know that map is unforgiving on land. only raids i had taken on this tank i survived. but i'd particularly like to know why my name is supposedly 'tainted' as you say for only 1 instance of 'bad play'

Thanks! Went from Captain to Sergeant to Colonel tonight. :P Would have preferred to stay Lieut/Captain but thank you nonetheless.

Nice session man. What tank(s) did you play as in Battlefield? Also, good luck with cupping - I've seen you in some of the previous tournies. One little tip: raids in tournaments aren't like main map. Marathon the hell out of there if you're in trouble. (I saw you shooting back once in like an 8v1 - beastly! But feel free to scram out of there.

Tournaments

Just a note for anyone who might not know this:
Deaths in tournaments do not count toward getting a death medal.
Tournaments are separate from the main map. And the stats on a tank are new each tournament. So there is no need to worry about deaths in a tournament (except for the fact it will likely cost you winning that particular tournament).
