"1vs1 Guide"
In tankpit, it's pretty obvious that there is safety in numbers. This doesn't mean a group of enemy tanks still couldn't single out a player and deactivate them. For the most part though, the color with a number advantage is on the attack. But what about when it's just one on one? It's a whole different kind of battle. If you just want to gather points then don't lay mines. Don't trap the player or block off fuel. Simply fire as much as possible and try not to run out of dual shots or extra radars. If you do want to deactivate the player, however, then things change. Laying mines is a good idea. Try to predict their moves to fuel and either block it off or take it first. If you are a higher rank, you should almost never have to move first. Keep firing and if they get to a dark shade, be sure to activate your armor shields. If you are the higher rank you can hold more shields and dual shots so you are the likely victor if the battle continues.

If you are equal rank or the lower rank you will have to pay careful attention to your equipment level. Try and run as low as possible on armor shields then make a run for fuel. Quickly return to combat or grab some equipment before re-engaging the enemy. With any luck you will gather more armor shields back, then try and get the player into another shield battle. Predicting enemy moves will come naturally over time. Instead of making a play to block a fuel or take it, you can also simply fire a shot where you think they will move. This allows you to strike with more dual shots. Indeed, prediction is a skill that helps in large battles, and tournaments too. Tailing an opponent and using your radar in the same areas they just passed through can be an effective technique. You can cover the fuel they discovered with mines. Then after you engage them, be sure to have homing shots activated.

If they get low and make a teleport to the fuel you just covered you are in with a good chance of catching them off guard and getting an easy deactivation. I hope these tips prove useful! See you guys on the field.

Tip of the day,
Now that you are lue, start chasing that sarg so you can get promoted to captain. For a new player it can be hard kill a sarge 1v1. It can even seem impossible. If you come into the game and all the sudden your color is the strongest color join together and try to take out one person at a time. You can use the in game dialog to meet people or to call out targets.

afgoo, how long does it take to fill? I fired over 50 shots at you while you ran around looking for eq saying brb. You musta got mad coz u quit after filling lol. The funny thing is we went to fill at the same time and I did so off one screen. Then you took foreverrrrr so I chased you, sorry to upset you tho ;) haha
