Thanks! Goal was to go top 25 without a sword, but that's not happening. I'm not sure how rankings work. Black Dragon is ~290 colonel and 12 General, enRac was 298 col/17 gen, so I figured my 330 col would put me in the 50-60 range. Ranked up to only 92. I'm not keen on a death medal but I do want to cup eventually!

Too bad this game doesn't find a way to offer equal speed! I watch Homer get 2 or 3 moves to others 1 (giving them a big head for their skills). People say it's the Internet speed? Then why did DTT work so well and Internet connection didn't make much difference? Even in 2013 a 40ms ping was not fast enough to see others not have multiple moves so we ALL know that is false. Constantly waiting for turns is pretty lame and pretty pathetic for a 15+ year game to react so slow. Getting bored.

@ Galilea,
if you haven't noticed you're not getting equal turns as some. In that case you will never do well in Torney's unless you get extremely lucky. You are doing better but your chances are slim to none with the game's current configuration. There used to be an addon called "DTT" that increased speed but supposedly it's not used here. Until the host opens it up to everyone just keep trying but at some point your reactions will pass the speed of the game which will frustrate U2 no end

Ive seen you quit low, Ive also seen you quit out once you get targeted. Its the samething and a bad form of play. People will not like you for this play and have already started talking negatively about it. You're already known as nothing but a newb. Your skill level will never change until you do what others do.

Ducking before you get 3 stars? That is still ducking a raid, There are tons of people that dont have their 3 stars yet and you see them beasting it up and are still considered good players cause they play the game right. A couple of weeks ago you took a raid? I dont know about you but people should be taking raids daily, not weeks apart lol...

No worries Grimlock. Appreciate it ^_^ was planning to have a fun little one v one until that happened lol. I know it's not my timing, I always get em on while being raided exact same time I hit em with you. They just didn't turn on; has happened before. dunno what it is. oh well now I can work back to Gen. Since I lost it I took a raid to Maj. today. something to work towards.

Thanks sFear, took a nice raid today, held off for awhile. my problem is at a certain point I just get tired of running so I take the death, cause when you get enough on you, had 4-6 off & on today don't know the count lol, all you have time to do is run. it's hard to fight back. can only take a couple turns before you have to get to fuel. So I don't run for a super long time before I'm ready to get back on the offense haha. see you out there

What you did yesterday was marathoning... If someone is shooting you the objective is to shoot back, even if multiple people are shooting you. You should always be trying to shoot back and survive. If everyone played like you then nobody would die and nobody would be able to rank up. Marathoning is something anyone can do and it completely ruins the point of the game. Try to start taking raids, even if you are only shooting back a few times before you tele.

Hey, I'm getting better! Used to just log whenever I was raided, now I can handle smallish raids. I always thought it was okay to go refill when I ran out of duals, but I see Obedience got some flak for suggesting it. As I log more hours, maybe I'll get better and figure it out!

Sorry, that was the stupidest deactivation I think I've ever had. Practically full shields, deactivated by a lieutenant 1vs1 as major. Not because of lag this time either. Just turned off my shields for some reason when I teleported to find fuel; I immediately reactivated them when I realized what I did, but it was too late---1 shot from your homing missile did the trick.

It's alright. If you had that many shields left you wouldn't have been deactivated anyway, as there was only about a second of time left when you quit out.
Still not nice to quit low in a tournament though. :P
