Hi guys,
I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I used to play the original battlefield many many many years ago. I just found out tonight that battlefield was revitalized. I've been playing for a few hours but I'm hooked again lol. I quit many years ago due to lag issues which don't seem to be there now. Thank god! Also, thank you whoever, for bringing this great game back! I'll see you guys in the field.

Hey man, one of the main things like exp said "do not be afraid to die" this goes a long way my friend. this also leads to confidence, and confidence is a must in this game to reach that so called 'nxt level' player status. radar u a few screens, and hit it hard. get low as possible and fight back as much as you can. Think Heroics! be a dare-devil and test even your own limits. if you die, then its meant to be. this will take you to where you wanna go in tankpit. -TuggF2Banshee-

For raids -
#1 - Speed matters. Definitely play on a wired connection (ethernet cable) instead of wireless. I used to play on wireless (where my ping varied between 1,000-5,000 ms) and I would simply miss turns (get shot three times by everyone raiding me) and simply die. On wired connections, my ping varies 30-50 ms, and I have never missed a turn since then. That matters when you're often 1-2 shots from death during raids!

For taking raids
#2 - If you're playing red, and you're the only red (a colonel perhaps) and there are 5-6 blues, there is a good chance they will raid you. Knowing this, use extra radars on 5-10 screens in a region (clear all the ghost fuels, make sure you know yellow dots on those 5-10 screens are REAL). Then you can just teleport to those when you're getting raided, without thinking about if they're real or not

For taking raids
#3 - Sometimes you make mistakes when you teleport to fuel and you inevitably use up some armor shields. You will lose equipment taking a raid. Try to find it during a raid: when all the fuel in a screen is used up, and you teleport to a new screen, the moment you land, use extra radar, pick up 1-2 pieces of equipment, and then the raid will arrive, and you start fighting back.

I gave tankpit a test drive in week of June 1-6 in 2012.
Here is the funny part I got my sergeant deactivated after 2 and a half hours of clicking ,LOL
Then this person I know named her tank Laurant and called for help and someone helped her.
Then I gave up on tp.

After 30 days, if a tank is idle (having not collected a single point or not logged into the map for 1 minute), it should be ghosted from the Top 25. It'll still hold its points & position in the rankings (6 months?); however, it should NOT be listed in the Top 25. It's getting nearly impossible for newer players to achieve Top 25 status. A game/points reset would be really unfair to the veteran players, but something needs to be done to expunge this game/leaderboard of its cob webs!

Those were some great fights tonight! I'm surprised i was able to play so well against each of you as normally i don't get such a luxury due to my latency. But for the most part tonight it was good :). I'm getting a better line soon and hopefully the latency problem will disappear. Look forward to seeing you next time! :)

I love how this game constantly freezes ONLY when I am being mobbed. Ever since the client changed. I look like an amateur..

Fun stuff out there today till I started pinging from 30 - 500s and couldnt see my fuel bar jump or armors go down till it was too late most screens.
keep em comin' though.

Man you are really bad at this game. I dont really see the point of it when you wont fight at all. Whether getting raided or another purple hopped in the fight of their own fruition you ran acroos the map over and over and wouldnt even fire a shot at some of us who were almost completely out of fuel.
Hands down the worst player i have met on here so far no questions asked.
