Great job and congratulations on your first (gold) cup. As you can see, there is no conspiracy / coordinating among other veteran players. You just had to get the feel for how to play tournaments. The first cup is the hardest, and you will win many more if you keep it up. Once you gain a reputation for being consistent at winning cups, you can play your main tank in tournaments and people will not mob / raid you. See you on the field =)
