BoMbER SaUrER - welcome back, man. i was very close friends with DeAtH SaUrER back in the old BF days around 2002 and he taught me a lot about precision teleporting in crazy maze. i guess i left the game (around 2003) before you joined, but the fact that we were both saurers 10+ years ago means that you and i have some real link that you can't develop today in tankpit =) hope to see you on the field more often!

Good to see you on the field again, especially considering you broke you hand and you're still playing. That's real dedication, man! And hope you heal up soon. You came up to me and said "that was whack!" the other day. You must be talking about the 2-hour Nile tourney where I snagged you to make captain. You're a good sport for not Q'ing low. And you're getting better every day you play too. Let me know if you want to discuss tourney strategies. I love that stuff and wish you luck!

To improve your ping, try: 1) if you are on wireless, switch to wired. directly connect ethernet from your comp to router, 2) buy a better modem and better router, 3) restart your comp, and use something like game booster to shut off other background processes before tourney, 4) use a good browser like chrome, 5) call your ISP and ask if they can diagnose any issues. good luck, let me know if your ping can be reduced to below 60-70 ms.

As you may suspect, most cups in tourneys these days are won by the same group of 10 or so same players, just under new tank names each time. Most of them already cupped their main tank, and continue to compete in tourneys for the thrill of an hour of packed action (something you don't get often on main map). We do also track who has the most cups (sum of all tanks over all tourneys they've played) and the best players have 30+ cups in TankPit v2 alone.

How to get an "equal turn count" (reduce your ping):
1. Stop using WIFI (if you are) and get wired instead.
2. Make sure you have a good modem.
3. Upgrade your Internet service package to a faster one.
4. Move closer to the server the game is hosted on.
5. Stop whining about lag when you're not even hitting 300 - 800+ ping.
It's not anyone else's fault that your ping is not the best. Stop jumping on others for something that's not their fault. Be happy. :)

I did not mean it in a condescending way, so I apologize that my advice came off like that. Battlefield doesn't mean much anymore - TankPit is a much different environment then BF was. But I also played from around 1998-99 so we are probably from the same era.
Regardless, I am cheering for you to land a cup! Several people have got cups with Pings in the 130 range. You probably are best to concentrate on making Major.
