Every shot counts towards your rank. Notice how you need to shoot other tanks to raise the XP bar. In order to get the best rank in the quickest amount of time, shoot as much as possible.

I'm an old player that is returning ... only been able to play desert so far... used to be rOULETTe had a few team tanks too.... jets... legacys... STRIKERS... etc
