If you're serious about improving your tournament game I would suggest doing some research on TankPit tournament guides. It's against the Terms of Service for me to link anything, but if you do a simple search you're bound to find information on improving. :) Guides were how I improved my game from placing in the 20's, to several (half a dozen) 4th and 5th place finishes. I hope to cup soon myself! Still improving. See you on the field!

I see how fast your connection is and the potential you have to become a beast. Here's one tip that might help-don't turn on shields until you absolutely have to when your fuel is low other than that try to conserve and teleport to fuel and such. Remember to tele short and radar then move to fuel

You should really fill up your equipment until you're full on everything else and have 40+ radars. When you fight with that inventory, you will be much more likely to kill your targets and survive raids. I saw you shooting singles a lot / not filling your duals, and I tried to tell you to go fill. It's hard for you to deactivate "Alive in You" if you're firing singles and have no homing shots. Later on, he deactivated you instead, so hopefully you fill next time! See you around!

To all reds. Continue mining as much of the field as possible, it helps kill the purple tanks who just run around and hardly shoot back. Tanks like Homer Simpson and Krusty Clown spring to mind. With out the mines they have the freedom to just run around and not shoot back much, eventually they get owned but they make the game very unenjoyable with their newb tactics.

Tell me about it, I kept getting like 4 players all of a sudden on me and couldnt handle it XD
I wanna play the next few tourneys and try to learn more from the experience tho, like how much equipment can you stack!? I had almost 80 shields at one point, then lost them all XD

Yourself - Part 1
First, your awards (single star, bronze tank, combat medal) give away your experience - veteran tourney players know you're new, based on your awards, and they will target you particularly. To have a better chance in tourneys, make a new blank tank, without any awards, and fight from there.

Yourself - Part 2
When you enter the tourney, first thing is to fill up on equipment. Use your 5x5 sized recruit radar to scan for equipment, making sure you don't scan the same area twice (drive half a screen, radar, drive another half a screen, radar, etc), until you fill up to 60 of shields, duals, missiles, homings, and 50+ of extra radars. Should take 8-12 minutes. Always fill on equipment first before fighting

Yourself - Part 3
Once you fill as recruit, turn on your duals + homings, find the nearest bot, and start fighting it. Use extra radar on the screen with the bot, see where all the fuel / equipment is, fight the bot 7-9 shots until it teleports away, refuel / heal yourself, pick up any equipment on the screen. Repeat until you're sergeant. Kill a corporal bot (red-1 / purple-2, etc), keep fighting, and make lieutenant. You should be in tourney for 15-20 min now.
