So what's the deal with certain people spending all their time killing bots when they already have a golden tank and there are real people to fight? Isn't the whole purpose to fight each other? That certainly seems more fun to me than making easy, pointless kills.

Two Headed Dog,
Good fight today. Learn to use your shields and extra radars when you are under attack. Generally, if you get down to 20-30% fuel level (around dual symbol on your fuel bar), you can teleport 1-2 screens away, scan with an extra radar, and you will find 1-2 cans of 500+ fuel to fill back up and keep fighting. Unless you are attacked by 3+ enemies, or run into a dry patch without fuel, you don't need to use armors. Even if you do, you should have 40+ to keep you alive. Cheers

See you in the pit, and in the tournament...you don't know this, but I compare the success of my tournament rank relative to yours (Underground Cat) seeing as I know you're probably putting in a lot of effort and strategy. I hate lag! I was being attacked and had full health and 30 shields. I went to teleport and turn shields on and nothing on the screen moved for 8 seconds. Screen unfroze and I was dead. My ping is 98ms so I'm not sure why this happens? Why Tankpit? Why????

Hey Blues,
Sorry to the rest of you (Bonecrusher, Battlefield-2, etc), but I'm quitting out if you're raiding with All Day28. He refuses to play his colonel unless blue is the dominant color on the map. He'll waste my time with his orange lieutenant though -- but only when orange is running. You guys know I'm always down for some 1v1 PP. Bonecrusher, find a serg bot and rank up -- you're already gaining a ton of point differential on me since I stay ranked high. ;)

I really enjoy you being on the Red side of things. You are always willing to help people get kills, and always apologize when you accidentally get the kill. These players you are arguing with are acting very strange as of late, and you shouldn't worry about them. Just keep doing you, and Make your way threw the ranks. Peace, Love, and hippie grease.

you're advice is helpful and change my tournamenting objectives a bit...
@lol - wouldn't it be better to always just go for a kill and collect points through bots? By getting points off other players, aren't you risking drawing attention for enemies to come and help your prey? I ask because so far I've always collected points off bots, and generally get lieutenant (withe enough points to become captain) in 40 minutes (from the start of the game)...

but when I've tried to attack other players for points, I generally get more damage, am at more risk to being deactivated, and gain enemies.
Would this be a strategy your recommend for lieutenants, or more so for captains?
