There aren't enough players right now to have multiple maps. Rather then the majority of the maps being empty, it was easier to just have one map and rotate through so there can be the maximum amount of players at any given time. Once tankpit gets much more active, I imagine they would increase the number of maps.

I struggle with an okay connection and mediocre laptop when I play. I lag up pretty bad occassionally. During tournaments, to maximize my speed I would prevent unnecessary things connected to my internet. So I turn off my phone's wifi, my ipads wifi, make sure my xbox is off and my desk is close to my router. This all helps me gain a little speed back and not lag so much. Also restarting your computer and not having a lot of background application helps a lot.
