Glitch... I think.
I was a lieutenant with my Orange tank, experience points were full for promotion and then skilled a sergeant... still lieutenant, exp reset... Weird

Epitome - lol dude I'm opening doing it on purpose and telling everyone about it even the developer which I have already spoken to about.
