The map does rotate occasionally. Less so in recent times. The vast majority of active players prefer des/meltdown to anything else regardless. They flow better and have less dead space. Play some tournaments for map variety. Just a suggestion :)

I would have finished in the same position with a 90%+ probability under any circumstances in that 7-man snore fest. Maze is literally garbage. Why would anyone voluntarily spend time in that map? To drive in circles or teleport 50 times every time you need some equipment? It's in tournaments once every few months. That's enough.

But yeah, it's no big deal. I was waiting for you on huge screens, and you didn't come. Then you made some weird moves and followed me around when I decided to go on bots. Overreacting once in a while is just human nature. I was ready to play nice again a few screens later. That was whack!

You are a bit delusional. How many points did you end with? All the winning tanks ended with over 107k. It was a strange tournament. I myself nearly caught up to you after being behind for most of it. If anyone would fight me or I landed a kill I would passed you too. Funny your tank was salty coz you sure came off that way.

Psycho Maze is pretty unique. Extremely difficult to play. But still, both times I got silver there by filling as recruit. Refilling is super challenging because ferry distribution is random and so much fuel/eq gets trapped in the water channels. To compensate, I played with a lot of single shots and turned off Extra Radar for a duration in the middle of the tournament to ensure I'd have them at the end. Tournaments there can probably be more easily be won at random.

I'm sure you will win eventually if you don't give up! Even using your headstrong no equipment approach, you may eventually land captain in a tournament w/ 3 or less captains. In which case you will cup regardless of having low points. However, its much better to try and stay busy for the entire hour and gather as many points as possible while still hunting for the promotion kill you need. Sometimes lieutenants win because no kills happen. You need to fill equipment to win this way.

MamaXiangQi - you really should either fill at recruit or if you are going to fight at the start, fill once you reach sergeant. The only alternative would be to rush to lieut in the endeavor to be the first to deactivate Special's sergeant, if you noticed it being a different color than you at the beginning. There aren't always identifiable easy sergeant kills though. And tournaments always have dry periods with low fuel/eq. It's during those patches you really need the Extra Radar.

The fuels and equipment you use, the shots you fire and the attention you pull all affect the way the tournament plays out. If you are going to give up half-way, you won't gain nearly as much experience. Tournaments are a marathon, not a sprint.

I appreciate the silver cup mamaxiangqi, but literally the only posted rule about tournament is to not allow intentional deactivation. Its your call how to play it when people attack you, but calling on yourself and advertising you'll do it around 30 minutes if you are falling back is pretty much intentional deactivation. Even if you are losing and it seems you have no chance, anyone with even a moderate early tournament can still win up until around 40-45 minutes with lucky rank to major.

"Testy Meltdown" Not that Optimus Prime needs anyone to stand up for him, but here I am. He plays at lieut so he's not targeted, that is true to some degree. That way he can participate in chat rooms and watch TV while spacing out and killing the occasional bot. It's not hurting anyone so what's the problem? Heck, if you need a ranking kill to major you could probably snipe him when he's looking afk and get an easy kill. The question here: why are you on an anonymous tank to throw shade? Coward?

To further stoke the flames that Voltaic is Globe - He's all about Electric Universe. I'd say it's as good as confirmed. It's well disguised with no cups or specials but becoming clearer. Lame play aside, it's a monstrous effort to move that far in less than 5 months. Has anyone ever? Dr. Hibbert? The Dragon? I'm not sure.

Hello my friend. 1v4 is ridiculously easy. Depending on who's at the helm of the tanks, things get difficult in the 1v5, 1v6 range. Over 6 enemies and you have to be much more careful with your clicks and decision making. Driving a lot leads to a quick death. As a veteran who's been vilified for running at times, I understand both sides of the coin better than most. I've also taken on 10+ tanks for over 20 minutes and survived. Run in tournaments, sure. Not in World. Coward.

Please reinstate the 'award winners' page. Include a brief summary or link to the actual winning entries. This would allow us to see what kind of things actually work and also prevent the same things being submitted over and over. I submitted the idea to be able to jump pages on the leaderboard last month. It was just recently implemented in the last few days. This lead me to believe I was sure fire for a LB award. Little did I know, lvd won for that same idea on the Architect in Q1. Please fix.

Yo Frinzee.. Tournament just doesn't have enough players. If the few guys who religiously attend stopped playing them, there would be no one to compete with at all. To my knowledge rarely are there groups formed these days or any players colluding for an advantage. Maybe you are a bit rusty in tournament play or just not that expert at it yet. Stay positive and keep trying, you'll get a Golden cup on Frinzee eventually.

Lasher - you were an easy target in those tournaments, I'm sure. If you fill up on equipment from the beginning you are far less likely to be hunted once people start ranking to lieutenant. If you rank up to serg/lieut without armor shields and extra radars, people will notice and hunt you. Keep in mind that the majority of the players left are elite level and easily capable of winning the Golden cup on any given day. If you keep playing tournaments though, you will win a cup. Good luck!

Gundam: The ranking system is based off points that are earned by fighting other tanks. The higher the enemy rank, the more points you gain by shooting them. Only the developers can see the point totals. Once you collect more points than the player ahead of you, your number drops.
As for the other awards; SW said basically to just wait on that because he's too busy. You submit garbage and SW gives you specials out of friendship or pity. Rarely has a special truly been deserved in tankpit.

spyro, check the archived top25. We all had tanks with battered swords but SW deleted them when he took control. That among a lot of other things: jerks play a lot and no one good really plays much at all. Game is dead. Let it rest in peace.
